Hey Now Podcast Feat. James Feldeine @Kingjf4
On this episode of the Hey Now Podcast we got a chance to sit down with Professional Basketball Player and 2x Champion James Feldeine from Washington Heights. In this episode we touched on his underdog story. We spoke about how coming out of New York City he didn’t really have the same buzz as the others players that were around him and how he was able to use the moments to put him in the position he is in today, through hard work and dedication. You literally have to fall in love with the grind and that’s what he did, no matter who believed in him. He knew that in order to separate from the bunch that he had to work 5x harder.
During our conversation we were able to also discuss his recruiting process and why he turned down the chance to go play for Jay Wright and the Villanova Wildcats.
-The Difficulties in his first year at Quinnipiac University and how the firing of his coach changed the course for him
-How the University experience really molded him into the person/player he is today
- Going overseas and realizing that in order to get paid and make a living you have to put in 3x the grind, as well as adjusting to the overseas life and game.
-Playing alongside Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) and that experience of being his teammate
-Representing his country in the Nationals (Dominican Republic)
-We also touched on why James always wanted to do his own thing and decided to attend Cardinal Hayes High School
And so much more!!!!!!!
