Karen Shriner earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Millikin University and has 20 years of experience in a variety of roles with the Walt Disney Company. She traveled the world for Disney Cruise Line, where she played multiple roles in the Award-Winning Broadway style shows aboard the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic. She also served on the leadership team, where she was responsible for maintaining the musical integrity of all the shows and training the cast on new music for additional shows added on board.
Karen has worked in entertainment at Walt Disney World in the iconic Hoop Dee Doo Revue and, for the past twelve years, as a member of the world-renowned a cappella group, Voices of Liberty. In addition, she was in charge of special events at the Disney Store in Times Square, worked for the Disney Vacation Club, and facilitated and presented training classes for new Walt Disney World cast members.
Scott first met Karen on a trip to Epcot, where he heard her sing under the rotunda circle at the American Pavilion…and she is just as lovely as lovely can be.
