Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be reading Proverb 7 in its entirety.  Upon completion I will mention that five verses of this proverb talk about seeking wisdom, and obeying the commandments of God and 22 verses on the crafty harlot.  Temptation is very real and can come in many forms.  I will mention Joseph in the 39th chapter of the book of Genesis.  We will go over verses 6-16 and speak of the time when Potiphar's wife tried to force herself upon him.  She got so close to him she was able to take off his garment.  This later ended up making Joseph look guilty and he was thrown in prison.  Yet, Joseph did NOT do anything wrong - other than maybe be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  I am asking that you attempt to avoid temptation at all costs, and if you get in a situation like Joseph found himself in that you RUN!  I caution everyone thinking about a situation such as this to remind themselves that this not just about you (especially if you are married, or if you have children).  Think about the cost that could occur if you are found out.  I will then share Matthew Chapter 5, verses 27-30, where Matthew cautions us that if we simply lust after a woman that we have already committed adultery with her in his heart.  I will then go over verse 11 of our proverb today.  She is loud and rebellious (in other words she wants to be seen - whether it with her words, her actions, or her seductive dress (please avoid her at all costs.
