Description

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 14.  I will then key in on verse 2:  He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.  I believe that I fit into this category.  I walk with uprightness, living my life each day becoming more and more like Jesus.  I "fear" the Lord - not in a "scared" kind of way, but in a reverential type of way.  I realize the He is God, and that I am not.  I humble myself before Him.  I have allowed Him to have that place of prominence in my life, and my life is better that it has ever been.  The Spirit has been dealing with me about the area of servanthood.  It brought the passage of scripture entitled "Greatness Is Serving" in my Bible - Mark, Chapter 10: verses 35 through 45.  In this passage of scripture James and John (referred to as the Sons of Thunder) ask Jesus that He save a spot on the right hand and on the left hand when He goes to Heaven.  His response - that is the Father's (God's) choice, not mine to make.  Jesus sets the example for us that he who desires to be great among you shall be your servant.  I will then go back and review verse 2 and close with a blessing.
