Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 19.  I will then key in on verse 23:  The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.  Friends, I can testify that if you have God in your life, and that you seek Him when things go wrong in your life, that your life will begin to turn around and that you will abide in satisfaction.  Also, although satan will continue to attack you and try to derail your plans and dreams, that you will have the power to get rid of him (see James, 4:7).  I will then continue our study on the book of Exodus.  Today we will be going over Chapter #9 - and we will go over the plagues of the diseased livestock, boils, and hail.  We will begin by reading verses 1-7.  God makes a distinction in that all of the cattle, horses, oxen, camels, and sheep in the entire of Egypt die, and not a single one of the animals dies that are in the land of Goshen (where the Israelite people are living).  I ask that you imagine that you are the Pharaoh and see all of these dead animals and you send out spies and confirmation comes that not a single animal dies where the Israelites are.  Next, we read verses 8-12 and go over the plague of the boils.  The boils go onto every Egyptian and their smaller animals.  Finally, we will read about the plague of the hail (verses 13-18).  We will then skip to verses 25-30.  God makes it very clear that the land of Egypt is decimated, while there is no hail at all in the land of Goshen.  CALL TO ACTION - The call is to continue giving one person a compliment each day.  I'm believing if that you continue making this a daily thing that you will notice a change in your life.  SUGGESTED SCRIPTURE READING - 1.  If you want to read one chapter, please read the entire 9th chapter of the book of Exodus.  2.  If you would like to read two chapters, please read Chapter #11 of the book of Hebrews (the great faith chapter).  I believe if you read this chapter every day for one month that you will sense in your spirit that your faith is growing more and more.  If you are willing to read a third chapter, please reread the 19th chapter of proverb in its entirety and let these proverbs truly sink into your spirit.
