Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be reading Proverb 30. I will then go over verse 11. There is a generation that curses its father, And does not bless its mother. I will then go over Ephesians 1-3. These verses tell us that we should honor our father and mother. Regardless of the relationship that you have with your natural mother and father you can still choose to honor them. I will then read the Gospel of John, Chapter 14 in its entirety. I will go over six very important truths from this chapter: 1. Jesus is the way - I will read verses 1-6 and state that Jesus is the only way to salvation; 2. Jesus declares that He is the son of God. Nowhere is scripture is this more evident than is verses 7-11 of this chapter; 3. Jesus answers your prayers - if you read verses 12-14 Jesus tells us that we should be able to do the exact same things that He did while He was on earth (even greater things); 4. Jesus promises to send us the Holy Spirit - once Jesus was resurrected and rose to Heaven, the Holy Spirit will come and reside in whosoever puts their faith in Jesus and receives Him as their Lord and Savior; 5. God & Jesus & the Holy Spirit ALL live and dwell in us - by reading verses 19-24 this is clearly revealed to us; and finally, 6. The peace of God dwell in you - verses 25-31 explain that the peace of God will come inside whosoever chooses to receive Jesus into their hearts. CALL to ACTION - look for opportunities each and every day to either pay someone a compliment, or to do a good deed to anyone whom may look like they need assistance. Suggested scripture reading: 1.
