Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 4.  I will then key in on verse 13 - Take hold of instruction; do not let go, Guard her for she is your life.  Friends, one of the most important things that we can do in life is to continue learning and growing every day.  I have met some people that do NOT do that anymore.  They are retired and feel that they've done all they NEED to do - and yet they are wasting away.  They see no purpose in living their life.  That is NOT the way to live.  Be purposeful to continue learning and growing until God takes you away from this Earth.  Today, we will continue in our study of the Book of Exodus.  Today we will be going over Chapter #14.  I will go over four takeaways from this awesome chapter of the Bible: 1.  The Lord hardens Pharoah's heart - Pharaoh does not harden his heart, but the Lord does it.  He realizes that he no longer has the Israelites at his disposal, and he regrets letting the people go (I will read verses 5-10). 2.  The Lord fights for the Israelites - (I will read verses 11-20) - God watches over His people Israel and provides for them.  He protects them from their enemies. 3.  Moses parts the Red Sea.  (I will read verses 21-22) - two very famous verses of the Bible.  Moses parts the Red Sea - He (God) enables the Israelites to cross the Red Sea on dry ground (by putting two tremendous piles of water on either side of their walking to enable them to cross on dry ground). 4.  God destroys the Egyptians (I will read verses 23-31). God not only enables the Israelites to cross the Red Sea on dry ground, but kills every single member of Pharoah's army in the process.  CALL TO ACTION - Pay a compliment or do a good deed to anyone who looks like they need it.  Suggested scripture reading - Read Chapter #14 of the Book of Exodus in its entirety; 2.  Read the 11th chapter of the Book of Hebrews; 3.  Read the proverb of the day, Proverb 4 in its entirety.
