Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 27. I will then key in on verse 17 - As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. I will then continue our Friday topical study series - today focusing on the subject of peace. I will go over five scripture verses that contain the word faith (I will actually only be able to cover 4 of these). I will begin with the Book of Galatians - Chapter 5: verses 22 and 23. When you look at verse 22, you see that it begins with But so we go back to verse 19 (which begins with the word Now). So we have to go all the way back to verse 16. So the passage is from Chapter 5, verses 16-26. If you go to our second reading, Romans, Chapter 8, verse 6, you see that verse 6 begins with the word For - so we have to go all the way back to verse 1. So, our second reading is Romans, chapter 6, verses 1-8. You will see that this passage is very, very similar to our first passage! 3. Our third scripture is Matthew, Chapter 5: verse 9. But, you will see this is Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. So, we will read Chapter 5, verses 1-10. 4. Our fourth scripture is from Philippians Chapter 4, verse 7. You see that verse begins with the verse and - so we have to go back to verses 4-7 to get Paul's point across. Our firth reading is from Collisions 3: verses 12-17 (but I will not go over it on the podcast. Suggested scripture reading is to go over these again.
