Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be covering Proverb 3.  I will then key in on verse 3 (NLT) - Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!  Tie them around your neck as a reminder.  Write them deep within your heart.  Friends,  loyalty is such a powerful thing.  Whether you talk about your spouse, your best friend, the relationship you have with your employer, or important friends in your life loyalty is something we should all be very concerned about.  Also kindness is something that we can also do with people that we do not even know.  We can (and should be) kind to everyone we come into contact with.  Today I will share four scripture passages having to do with worry/anxiety.  First of all, I'll be clear.  God makes it very plain to us in scripture that we do not have to live life this way.  The four passages of scripture I will be going over are:  1.  Isaiah, Chapter #40, verses 1-11.  Here God is prophesying the coming of John the Baptist.  (I would encourage everyone to read chapters 40-66 of Isaiah).  2.  I will then go to the Sermon on the Mount (Mathew 6:33).  I will read this scripture, but then advise that you should go back and read the entire passage beginning in verse 25 and reading through verse 34.  3.  Next, I will go to Luke's account of this very important Sermon, in Chapter #12, adding verses 32-34 to Mathew's passage.  These verses remind us that our focus should be on the people in our lives, and not material possessions.  It also encourages us to look (and help) those around us who are closest to us.  If we take the focus off of ourselves, and on others around us, our life will begin to have more meaning.  I will close with Paul's advise to us found in the 4th chapter of Philippians.  I will begin in verse 6, but then recommend that one should begin all the way back in verse 1 & read through verse 8 of the 4th chapter.  My CALL to ACTION is to put your heart under a microscope and ask yourself honestly if there is anything in your life that needs to be put away from our lives.  Ask God to reveal anything and take it away.  Suggested scripture reading for this weekend is to read Chapters 40-45 of the Book of Isaiah.
