Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 19. I will then key in on verse 23 - The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. This is such a powerful verse (and a wonderful promise of God). It tells us that we should fear the Lord - that should be a given at this point. I really enjoy the word satisfaction. It makes me just want to take a nice deep breath and sigh (with satisfaction). The verse is capped off with the promise that no evil will come near us. What a promise! Today I will end my teaching on how to renew our minds. I will review all of the verses that we have studied thus far, and read the first 21 verses of the 5th chapter in the Book of Ephesians. Friends, the bottom line is if we are truly to renew our minds, we need to be determined to get into the word of God and get to know Him - the one true God and learn about Him. Call to Action - in your prayer to God ask Him if there is anything in your life that you still need to get rid of (including some former friends that you need to let go of). Suggested scripture reading - reread the proverb of the day, Proverb 19 today, as well as the 5th chapter of the Book of Ephesians. Tomorrow read Proverb 20 and Sunday read Proverb 21.
