Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 9. I will then key in on verse 10 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. One of my favorite verses of the Bible. Yes, we are to have a reverential fear of the Lord. We are to fully understand that He is God, and we are not. We need to understand that we had need of a Savior and He obliged us by providing that opportunity for us. Understanding is also a very good thing. Life will go much better for everyone if you have understanding and wisdom, and if you apply them in your everyday life. Today I will continue my course of action that I began on last Friday's podcast. If you haven't had a chance to listen to that, I ask that you consider doing that prior to listening to this. Call to action - think about any changes that you have to make right now if you plan on your life, your marriage, the relationship you have with your kids to be better (different) a year from now. In order for your life to improve you need to be intentional. Your life can get better, but you have to formulate a plan to make it better, and stick with it.
