Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 3. I will then go over verses 7-10. Proverb 3 is a foundational proverb and one of the most important proverbs that we can teach to our children and grandchildren. I invite you to share some time with them when you get a chance and go over this proverb with them. I will then take a few moments to thank anyone in the listening audience today. I am beginning the 16th month of this podcast. I would like to review why I began this podcast, and state clearly that this podcast is not about me, but it is about listening to the Holy Spirit and being obedient to what He is telling me to do. I invite the audience to do the same. On today's podcast we will be looking at the 21st chapter of Matthew's gospel. I will go over the first 11 verses. These verses tell us of the triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem. We know this event at Palm Sunday. I want to bring out the irony that on this day Jesus is being praised and worship and five days later He is hanging from a cross. I will then go over verses 12-16. These verses go over the cleansing of the temple - an even so important that all four gospel writers felt it was important enough to include in their gospels. Call to Action - Briefly close your eyes and picture you were in Jerusalem on this special day. Jesus is being ushered into the city and is being praised and worshiped. Imagine the sense of celebration that is happening all around you. Then imagine, five days later the He would be hanging from a cross. Suggested scripture reading: 1.
