Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 14. I will then key in on verse 26 - In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge. Friends, having a foundation of the Bible in your life will give you confidence. It will give you something to stand on when you face various trials and temptations (which you will). If you have a strong foundation it is your responsibility to then share this knowledge with your children and grandchildren. Judy and I have been doing that of late. The verse I will then go over is Proverb 27:1 (TPT) which states - Never brag about the plans you have for tomorrow ; For you don't have a clue What tomorrow may bring to you! I bring up this verse to demonstrate that my plan for today's podcast was to go over a parable found only in Matthew's gospel - but the Holy Spirit had other plans. It is very important to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. You are to do what He says, and once you begin going in that direction, He may alter your course just a bit and ask you to do something else. Be quick to adjust to what He tells you. Call to action - Ask yourself are you living the abundant life God has called you to live? (What does living the abundant life even mean)?
