Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 22. I will then key in on verse 19 - So that your trust may be in the Lord; I have instructed you today, even you. Friends, we are to put our trust in God. If we do that we should honor Him by giving Him praise. We can do this by singing to Him. I will sing two short songs - This is the Day that the Lord Has Made & Lift Jesus Higher. Singing these two songs will get you in the mood to begin your day. If you begin each day with joy and Thanksgiving in your heart, and say a deliberate prayer to God prior to going to work, or beginning your day, I believe your life will begin to improve. I will review Romans, Chapter 12: verses 1 & 2 and 2 Corinthians, Chapter 5: verse 17. I will then go over the words of Jesus found in Matthew's gospel, Chapter 16: verses 24-27. I will then read Psalm 19 in its entirety. Call to Action: Ask God if you are living the abundant life God has called you to live (John 10:10)? If the answer to that question is no, ask God what it is that you need to change in your life. We are to be thankful and offer our lives as a living sacrifice. Our life is not longer ours to live, but we are to lay our lives down at the altar to follow Jesus. Suggested scripture reading: 1.
