Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will go over Proverb 1. I will break down Proverb 1 into three parts. Verses 1-7 talk about the importance of the Fear of the Lord and how we are to acquire knowledge; verses 8-19 talk about how we are to shun evil council. We are to avoid people that we know are living lives in a way that is contrary to how God would want us to; verses 20-33 take about how we are to seek wisdom and makes our decisions based on that. We will then return to our story of Jacob and Rachel and Leah. We will find out how Jacob proceeds to have 11 sons and the events that occur in that happening. I review that having two wives is NOT better than having a single wife and that there will be animosity if there are two women (or men) in the picture.
