Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today, we will go over Proverb 8. We will briefly go over verse 7. Then we will close out the series that I have spent going over the stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We will spend the rest of this podcast on the 35th chapter of Genesis. We will go over the affirmation of God changing the name from Jacob to Israel. We will go over the fact that God is going to give the land promised to Abraham and Isaac to Jacob and his descendants forever. We will go over the death of Rachel (as she was giving birth to her son Benjamin). We will review the names of the twelve sons of Jacob and that Leah had given him six of the sons, Rachel 2, Racher's maidservant 2 and Leah's maidservant 2. Finally we will go over the death of Isaac. We will discuss the fact that, even though Isaac did have an issue with his eyesight he had lived 20 years after the event of Jacob deceiving him and getting the blessing instead of Esau. God still blessed Isaac with long life, as he lived to be 180 years old.
