Description

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 4. I will then key in on verse 12 - When you walk your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble. Friends, if you walk in the light that Jesus offers, you will not stumble when you walk or run. If you live your life as though God doesn't exist or you do not look for Him to guide you, you will often stumble whether you run, or walk. On today's podcast I will begin a brief study on the term grace. My main two texts will be:

2 Corinthians 12:9; Ephesians 2:8-9

I will then go over an experience in my life that happened a short time ago. I was driving with a friend of mine, and we were looking for a parking space. It appeared that we had found one. But when the car backed out, a car coming from the opposite direction zipped in and took it. This was an opportunity to demonstrate grace. However, my friend got angry, and honked his horn. He demonstrated a desire to "give him a piece of my mind!" This brief display showed me that I, myself, have a need of more grace in my life. I have often done this many times in my life - but seeing someone else do it magnified in my mind the importance of demonstrating grace when opportunities present themselves to do that.

Call to Action - Do you demonstrate grace in your life? If not, a simple prayer to God asking for more grace would be a good place to start.

Suggested Scripture reading - Reread the proverb of the day, Proverb 4 in its entirety; meditate and ponder the two scripture verses mentioned above.
