Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 6. I will then key in on verse 13 - He winks with his eyes. He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers. I will discuss the line that mentions pointing with your fingers. This implies we are judging someone - not liking what we see about something they may be doing. Friends, this is the opposite of having grace. On today's podcast I will review what we discussed on Monday's podcast (if you did not get a chance to listen to #501, I invite you to listen to that prior to listening to this). I will review the two verses that we discussed on that podcast:
2 Corint 12:9 & Ephesians 2:8-9.
Then I will go over an example of someone who did not demonstrate grace recently on the golf course. I will then go over two additional scripture verses on grace:
2 Corint 9:8 & 2 Timothy 1:9.
Call to Action - Next time that you have an opportunity to demonstrate grace, ask yourself this question - Am I going to demonstrate grace, or do I choose to be judgemental & be mean and ugly?
Suggested Scripture reading - Go over today's proverb, Proverb 6 in its entirety; review and meditate upon the four scripture we went over today.
