Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over proverb 7. I will then key in on verse 18 & 19 - Come, let us take our fill of love until morning, Let us delight ourselves with love. For my husband is not at home; He has gone on a long journey. Friends, the majority of Proverb 7 deals with the "crafty harlot." These two verses speak of a married woman. She is distancing herself from her wedding vows and indulging in adulterous relationships. Friends, we should do all we can to not be ensnared with situations like this. On today's podcast I will continue on my series on the topic of grace. I will begin by reviewing the four scripture passes which we have already covered:
2 Corint 12:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corin 9:8; 2 Timothy 1:0
I will then go over the topic of driving on today's Interstates. This topic may hit a nerve with some people, but I feel it is something that all people need to hear.
I will close with two new verses dealing with grace:
Hebrews 4:14-16; & John 1:16-17
Friends, all six of these verses have the common component of being about Jesus. Whenever we think of the term grace, it will never be about us, but on the finished work of Jesus, and what He did on the cross for us.
Call to Action - Ask yourself how often are you demonstrating (and exercising) grace in your life.
Suggest Scripture reading - Please reread the proverb of the day, Proverb 7, in its entirety; Please review (and meditate on) the scripture passages which I have suggested on grace.
