Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 16. I will then key in on verse 9 - A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. Friends, my question to you today is where is your heart? Is it towards God & toward reading His Word (and following His commands)? On today's lesson I will pick up where I left off on last Friday's podcast. Knowing that a number of people listening to this podcast may be a bit unfamiliar with the Bible, or who may question where to begin a Bible reading program my lesson today may give you an idea of how to begin that task. On last Friday's podcast I gave an overview of the Old Testament. On today's podcast I will go over an overview of the New Testament. It is my desire that this podcast will bring clarity to everyone and, hopefully, plant a seed about which books in the Bible might be good for you to begin with.
Call to Action - Ask yourself where your heart is? Do you have a heart for God? - for His Word? Are you doing all you can to further advance His Kingdom here on this earth? If not, I suggest you pray to God and ask Him what assignment He has for you, and begin to head in that direction.
