Description

Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 30.  We will then key in on verses 7,8, and 9.  I will then continue my study on Joseph in the book of Genesis.  We will pick up our story where the seven years of plenty have come to an end and the seven years of famine are now beginning.  I will read Genesis Chapter 41:  53-57 and then begin Chapter 42 and read verses 1-12.  I will then go over three key points to consider concerning this story: 1.  The Lord was with Joseph: (a.  as Joseph was allowed to be in charge of all of the household and possessions of Potipher while he was in his house: and b. as Joseph was allowed to be in charge of the entire prison while Joseph was in the prison; now c. Pharaoh has put Joseph in charge of the entire land of Egypt.  He is second in command of the entire country directly below Pharaoh - so when the Egyptians come to Pharaoh asking for food, he directs them to Joseph.  2.  Joseph's dreams came true: (the two dreams that Joseph had had when he was 17 years old have come to pass and his brothers are now bowing down before him - exactly as they had in the dreams); and 3.  Joseph recognized his brothers, but they didn't recognize him:  (once they sold Joseph to Ishmaelite traders 13 years ago, they never intended on ever seeing him again.
