Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 4. I will then key in on verse 5 and remind the audience that God wants us to have wisdom and to make decisions based on wisdom as we live our daily lives. I will wish America a Happy Birthday as we celebrate 246 years as a country. I will pray for the leadership of our country and that they would have wisdom - and if they do not have wisdom God would put people in office who would run our country based on biblical standards. I will then continue our study on Joseph in the book of Genesis. I will give a recap of where we left off in our story on Thursday's podcast and we will pick up in Genesis Chapter 42: 14-24. I will then give my three points for the day: 1. Joseph tested his brothers (he did this by keeping each of his brothers in jail for three days). 2. Joseph feared God - I will highlight the fact that the reason that Joseph was blessed and that everything went well for him was due to the fact that he feared God; and 3. Your sins may (and many times will) come back to haunt you (his brothers come to the realization that they never should have sold Joseph to Ishmaelite traders and that his blood is now on their hands.)
