Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 8. I will then make a few comments on verse 11. Wisdom is very important to God, and He wants us to have it. This is the main purpose that God has placed it on my heart to do this podcast. I will then go over 1 John Chapter 2: verses 1-11. I will read each of these verses, and then give specific commentary on a number of the verses. I will explain that the apostle John refers to each person reading as little children. He tells us the importance of personally coming to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and, more importantly, coming to know Him in a very intimate way. If we make this decision, our lives will change and this passage tells us that we will be perfected. That means that we will become more like Jesus himself - which should be the goal of each of us who make the declaration that we are Christians - meaning followers of Christ.
