Welcome to Lessons From the Psalms with Bill Kelley. Today we will be taking a look at Psalm 31. After reading this psalm I will focus on the trust that David is putting in his God. This psalm is a psalm of reassurance. It is a perfect example of why people put their faith (and hope) in the psalms. This psalm is reassuring us that, regardless of the circumstances that arise in your life, that God will see that you get through every one. I will break down some of the key parts of this psalm and assure our readers that this psalm is still relevant to our world today. We can (and should) put our trust in the living God each and every day.
