A NEW ERA !
This was the beginning of a "new era" for our little family. We were leaving the USA and returning to Germany. This time we would not be living in Thomas’ home town, West Berlin, which was the walled city within East Germany. We were on our way to West Germany, near the city of Hannover, to a very old quaint town called Nienburg. It was going to be a brand new experience for Thomas, myself,’ and little Naomi!
And it is also a new era for me, in writing the upcoming episodes! Like I said in the introduction of the podcast, I had no idea when I first came to Europe, that I would end up raising our children in Germany. So now, I get to go back into the time machine, and review everything that happened. With a little help from my friends, and looking online, I am finding out all kinds of cool things. So let' s get started, this is what took place, back in December of 1974!
I said in the last episode, that we were flying from San Francisco to New York, with Peter and his family. Some friends we knew from Living Waters, would be picking us up at the airport there. The goal within our ministry, was to reach the young hippie drop outs, that lived in the inner cities. That’s why so many of us were prepared to leave the seclusion, and beauty of the ranches, in the country. It was time to be out sharing the gospel, the love of Jesus, that we had so miraculously come to know.
