In the meantime, my stories about being Christians, have covered a time frame, of seven years. In Episode 102, I was telling about how Thomas had the opportunity to teach; by writing and translating articles, for the church brochure. The time had come for Thomas, to formulate his understanding of the scriptures. It also took him deeper into explaining God’s principles in German. This is what he had been equipped and trained to do all along.
The first two articles that appeared in the “Ernte”
brochure, were on Character and Identity. These subjects are just as relevant today as they were when Paul wrote his letters. The same principles and truths of God, still apply to all men and all women.
What also helped Thomas grow, was studying and
translating, articles and books by Jim Durkin. In 1976 our ministry in Eureka, started sending us tapes and books; a lot of which were based on their radio program called "Practice the Word."
