"The Joshua Generation" sermon series continues with an examination of Joshua chapter two, in which spies from Israel are given refuge by an unlikely benefactor, Rahab the prostitute. In response to her faith, the Israelites promise protection to Rahab & her family so long as a scarlet rope hangs in their window, an outward sign of inner loyalty to their covenant made with God. Many metaphors and applications for modern people live within this passage, which promises a certain scarlet hope for all who cling to the cord of the Christ, our Savior!
