Summary:
Jacob was supposed to be the man of the house, but his attention and affection quickly became the object of a tug-of-war between two battling brides, Rachel and Leah (also sisters mind you). Genesis 29-30 has polygamy, discord, jealousy, competition, infertility and more drama than a Hallmark movie. At the heart of this dysfunctional family are two women struggling for identity. In the midst of this mess, God is working to bring about His sovereign plan through the failures and sins of broken people.
