Debra, award-winning writer and poet from Nigeria and curator of the digital literary collection Valiant Scribe spins a tale of rebellion in a fantasy universe. Valiant Scribe aims to increase awareness of human rights issues by gathering stories from those who experience them, with topics ranging from violence against women, forced labor, menstrual hygiene management, human trafficking, poverty, climate change, migration, and now Covid-19.
The game is called The Steadfast and the Rebellious, and was created by W. H. Arthur, and guides players through telling the story of a person in an oppressed fantasy city as they are radicalized and inspired to join a rebellion and fight for freedom.
