In this next chapter we find Atreyu steady on his quest to The Southern Oracle. Unbeknownst to him a great darkness is growing and hunting him. Bastion is contemplating his fate, as well. Will he disappoint his father? Will his father care? And where did that distant cry come from that Atreyu and another subject both heard?
