We are ALMOST caught up with the Scream franchise! This time, we watched the fifth installment or re-quel (scream-make?) that came out last year, Scream (2022). This film followed up one of the more controversial films in the franchise, so Moth was a little hesitant about it. Thankfully,Scream (2022) exceeded expectations and successfully launched a whole new arc, with a new incredible cast alongside a few of our familiar favorites. Most importantly, the filmmakers took a lot of care to pay tribute to the man who started it all: Wes Craven. We love a good excuse to honor one of the greatest horror filmmakers of all time (in our humble opinions)!
