Good morning and good copy! Well as we go into another day that is preoccupied with the coronavirus, there are many changes we are learning about taking place in different states. While many people are feeling fear, I’m not feeling fear because what’s taking place is very much like a storm. We have storms all the time, we prepare for them, and we ride the storms out to their end. And I think that’s what we are experiencing today. We are experiencing changes or the announcement of changes on a very frequent basis, and change results in stress, and stress can result in fear if we let it. Don’t let these changes result in fear. By the way, in preparing for the podcast I remembered the song by REO Speedwagon titled Riding the Storm Out. The lyrics give a good outline for how we should ride out this storm. Ridin' the storm out, waitin' for the thaw out
On a full moon night in the Rocky Mountain winter
My wine bottle's low, watching for the snow
Thinkin' about what I've been missin' in the city
And I'm not missin' a thing
Watchin' the full moon crossing the range
Ridin' the storm out
Ridin' the storm out
My lady's beside me, she's there to guide me
She says that alone we've finally found home
The wind outside is frightening
but it's kinder than the lightning life in the city
It's a hard life to live but it gives back what you give
