Mr. James Preston has officially been named the fourth President of West Hills College Lemoore, and it is clear that the institution is in great hands under his mentorship. With close to 30 years of educational experience, President Preston has positioned himself to become one of the most prominent leaders in the San Joaquin Valley, motivating and inspiring people of all ages including members of the RISE 2 IT crew. In this episode, hear how Mr. Preston made his journey to the United States (by way of England), his love for music, secret talent to rap, misconceptions about community college, and how his wife, Jennifer, motivated him to pursue education.
