Jeff and Big Dave are back from a 2 week break and getting into Hockey Talk starting with the retirements of Goalie, Cam Ward and Defenseman, Niklas Kronwall (0:00-15:55). After that the two play love doctor and try to think of reasons why Justin Williams is "taking a break" from his love, the NHL (15:55-22:25), also the Blue Jackets and Zach Werenski finally agree on a deal, will that help salvage any part of their season (22:25-26:30). Finally, the boys start to give their previews of each division weekly, starting with the Metropolitan (26:30-59:10).
For Baseball Talk the GM of the Red Sox got fired (59:10-1:07:20), Verlander threw a no-hitter and should be given the AL Cy Young NOW, according to Big Dave, the guys try to think of any other possible team to upset either the Yankees or Astros in the AL (1:07:20-1:14:15), Jeff and Big Dave also try to think of teams that could upset the Dodgers or Braves in the NL playoffs (1:14:15-1:19:30). Jeff talks a little Braves and the guys make their cases for NL MVP (1:19:30-1:28:28).
