BARNACIDE® is the first environmentally safe, sufficiently effective means to prevent biofouling to a satisfactory degree. Our patented technology provides an outer layer to repel and prevent biofouling, and an inner layer to eliminate any organism that can penetrate the outer layer.
BARNACIDE® is active against all forms of biofouling, and protects nearly any structure for a minimum of 5 years. The two layers of polymers, each with different biologically active chemical agents, together produce a technology that is extremely effective in eliminating cosmetic, biological, chemical, corrosive, and mechanical damage to the submerged surfaces mentioned above.
