While Grom and Tylylor recover at the Verdant Hearth, Duxon and Quill step into the sleepy bustle of Pointe Theus for what should be a simple shopping trip. They meet a fast-talking gnome whose general store feels like an organized accident, overflowing with oddities and forgotten treasures.
But under the sheltering trees at the edge of town, drizzle collecting on her canvas canopy, they encounter a stranger far less ordinary—Alihya Nevercross.
To Duxon, she appears radiant, regal, and serene.
To Quill, her skin is parchment-thin and written upon, her eyes wells of ink and insight.
Neither description matches the other. Both are true.
As the party inches closer to the Halls of Relik’s, the world itself seems to fold and watch.
