Finally, a vampire comedy that doesn't suck. The talent behind 'Flight of the Conchords' brings you a mockumentary that follows a handful of undead blood-drinkers around Wellington, New Zealand as they attempt to get into nightclubs (not so easy since they have to be invited in) and deal with the ire and annoyance of having flatmates who don't pull their weight (one vampire hasn't washed any dishes in five years!). 'What We Do in the Shadows' is a hilarious comedy that is also a loving portrait of vampire lore that we've seen across many different horror films. Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi and Jonathan Brugh are all uproarious as the vampires and there are even werewolves that make it into the picture. Andrew and Phil are both in unanimous agreement that this movie is fantastic and recommend to anyone, living or undead.
