Description

Faster than you can say 'Bibbidi bobbidi boo' Disney has cannibalized it's illustrious past for the sake of coercing dollars from a new generation of moviegoers.  That's right, it's another Cinderella adaptation.  This one is not a musical and it's directed by Kenneth Branagh, who cut his teeth making Shakespeare adaptations.  Andrew and Phil sadly agree that there is nothing new, remarkable or even worth recommending about this dull retread, but it does herald a cinematic movement Andrew has labeled: Production Design Porn.  Branagh's "Cinderella" seems to have shoved its budget squarely in the direction of costume and sets, and at the expense of great performances.  This discussion turns toward the sorry state of movies today, as Andrew and Phil gripe and groan through the final third of the show.  This isn't an episode, it's a post-mortem. Where's your fairy godmother now?
