Make sure your smartphone is charged and your romper is just wrinkled enough to say you don't care, and come watch 'Fort Tilden', the new indie comedy that savages twenty-something hipster culture in NYC. Allie and Harper are roommates, and as a result, constant companions. They harbor a lot of resentment for each other and when they both meet a cute boy at a rooftop party, they find themselves crusing for the same catch. A date is set at Fort Tilden the following day for the three of them (plus one wingman) to get together. But getting there from Williamsburg proves to a hellish journey, literally and existentially. These two spoiled girls are not the most likable bunch (Andrew hated them) but they are treated affectionately by the filmmakers (Phil enjoyed watching them). If you see this film, you can tell people it's one of your favorites...but they've probably never heard of it...
