Description

Bill Brown has been making his own brand of experimental documentaries for over twenty years. With his partner, Sabine Gruffat, the two professors-cum-filmmakers have made a film that portrays the housing crisis in Spain.  Shooting on 16mm as well as digital video, the adventurous duo insinuated themselves with squatters and activists, all the while capturing life off the grid through a poetic lens.  Bill joins In the Queue for this episode to talk about how they managed to make such a beautiful film in an unfamiliar country, remarkable also as a mirror to our own housing crisis.
