Life as a college baseball jock at a Texas university in 1980.
Director Richard Linklater delves into the past to tell a
story about young men in the few days leading up to the first day
of school. This naturalistic tale has no stars, no
unbelievable set pieces and nearly no plot of which to speak.
What it does have is a deep love for its' characters and a
superb cast to pull off the low-budget humanist masterpiece of the
summer. Andrew and Phil both praise 'Everybody Wants Some!!'
and discuss how some people want to go to movies to see someone
else, while others want to see themselves.
