Some movies are worth seeing just for the experience of having your mind blown. 'The Lobster' is an unrelentingly grim and weird film but it contains the fun of discovery for the open-minded viewer. Colin Farrell is a mild-mannered man staying at the Hotel where single people have 45 days to fall in love before they are turned into animals and released into the Woods. The humor in this satirical film from Yorgos Lanthimos is pitch-black, and always couched next to shockingly violent scenes that establishes a unique tone. Andrew was fascinated by 'The Lobster', even parts that Phil found to be draggy.
