Tale as old as time...done poorly. Why does this film exist? For the bottom line, and no other reason. Andrew and Phil lament the new remake of the Disney animated remake from 1991. Not only is this version uninspired and overlong, it adds nothing worthwhile to the story and serves only as another reminder of how Disney will continue to cannibalize it's legacy for the sake of squeezing more dollars out of every subsequent generation it discovers. And we have The Little Mermaid live-action remake to look forward to later this year. Pathetic.
