If ever there was a movie that aped the conventions of Ridley Scott's ALIEN yet lacked the commitment to make itself an interesting movie in it's own right, LIFE is that movie. Andrew and Phil trash yet another mediocre March release in the new episode of ITQ. This killer alien sci-fi horror film boasts a cast seemingly assembled at random and chained to a boring, dour script that takes itself way too seriously. If you're going to make an unoriginal genre picture, you should at least have some fun with it, but the filmmakers behind LIFE act as if they were crafting some kind of cautionary tale about deep space exploration. They forgot to make it an enjoyable ride.
