Renton, Spud, Sick Boy and Begbie are back after twenty years. Since he ripped off the group of heroin addicts in the original TRAINSPOTTING, Renton returns to Edinburgh to try and close the chapter on a tumultuous period of his life. He finds his old mates are still living marginal, (some amoral) lives. This film marks the reunion of the original creative team behind the 1996 classic, and let me tell you, this is no BLUES BROTHERS 2000. A film that has new things to say, T2 does not rely on nostalgia for it to exist. Andrew and Phil both praise the kinetic visuals and wonderful characters in Danny Boyle's dark and funny sequel.
