Living in the shadow of the Happiest Place on Earth is a group of children and their parents in an unglamorous motel. The tenants include Halley (Bria Vinaite) and her little daughter Mooney (Brooklynn Prince) and the beleaguered manager, Bobby (Willem Dafoe). What follows is a captivating depiction of childhood that transforms into a character study of a woman down on her luck. Superb performances all around had Andrew and Phil marveling over this film. This one is sure to end up on their top ten lists at the end of the year.
