A romantic comedy of sorts, "Begin Again" follows the relationship between Greta (Keira Knightley) and Dave (Mark Ruffalo) as they scamper around Greenwich Village trying to make music out of their misery. Greta is involved with an egotistical rock star who is breaking her heart and Dave was recently fired from his label for not hiring any successful musicians. Dave happens to hear Greta perform in a bar and instantly decides she is the artist he needs to sign to recover his career, and his life. Greta has other plans. Together, they forge a bond through music and help each other through emotionally difficult times. Andrew unequivocally disliked this movie. Phil enjoyed it. Thought it charming.
