🇬🇧 For this episode, we had the honor of having Lara Hernández, one of our collaborators in Pueblos Remotos, joining us. After 8 years living in Paris 🥐, she decided to move back to her hometown (Ingenio) in Gran Canaria 🇮🇨 last year. Right at that moment she started working with us as a freelancer, was it a coincidence or was it meant to be? 🤔
Her choice of tea reminds her of her childhood but also of those moments when she is stressed out and just wants to relax 🧘. Moving back to Gran Canaria was not an easy decision for her. She had many insecurities and she went through a hard time the first few months 🤯. Lately she has managed to find a good work-life balance, she has found her tribe and she is very happy with the decision she took 👏
Lara opened herself up with us and shared very special things that we didn’t even know such as her love for music 🎶, which is definitely more than just a hobby for her. She still feels shy talking about this topic, but she is working on believing in her and already performing quite a lot of small shows 🎸 (even at weddings!). We are very proud to have such a talented artist and professional as part of the team and we can’t wait to go to one of her shows!

🇪🇸 Para este episodio tuvimos el honor de contar con Lara Hernández, una de nuestras colaboradoras. Después de 8 años viviendo en París, el año pasado decidió regresar a sus orígenes en Gran Canaria (Ingenio). Justo en ese momento empezó a trabajar con nosotros como freelance, ¿casualidad o tenía que ser así?
Su elección de té (tila) le recuerda a su infancia, pero también a esos momentos en los que está estresada y necesita relajarse. Volver a Gran Canaria no fue una decisión fácil para ella, ya que tenía muchas inseguridades y pasó por momentos difíciles durante los primeros meses. Sin embargo, últimamente ha sabido conciliar muy bien su vida laboral y personal, ha encontrado su sitio y está muy contenta con la decisión que tomó.
Lara se abrió con nosotros y compartió cosas muy especiales que ni siquiera sabíamos, como su amor por la música, que definitivamente es más que un hobby para ella. Todavía le da vergüenza hablar de este tema, pero sigue trabajando para creer en ella e incluso tiene algunas actuaciones(¡hasta en bodas!). ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de tener a una artista y a una profesional tan talentosa como parte del equipo y tenemos muchas ganas de verla cantar en directo!
