Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Joshua.
This is episode #07 chapters 13 & 14.
Joshua Chapter 13, God told Joshua that there still was land that needed to be captured despite the fact that Joshua was getting to the age where fighting was becoming more difficult. The Lord told him that the mountainous areas from Misrepthoth Maim to Lebanon was to be given to Israel as an inheritance. Joshua was told to divide the land amongst the nine tribes, as well as half of the Manasseh tribe.
Joshua Chapter 14, The land in the Canaan region was the Israelites’ inheritance. This land was given by lots to the nine and one-half tribes just as God had commanded through Moses. Moses had given two and one-half tribes their allotted inheritance and it was on east side of the Jordan.
