Description

Welcome back to Reading with Ben! Let's continue the lecture on the book of Leviticus.

This is episode #03 Numbers chapters 5 & 6.

Numbers Chapter 5, God told Moses to order the Israelites to ban from the camp those (male or female) who have skin diseases, including those who had a skin discharge or were ceremonially unclean due to a dead body. They were to be sent away from the camp so they would not defile it because God lived with them. The Israelites did as Moses told them to do.

Numbers Chapter 6, God tells Moses to tell the Israelites that if they make a special vow to God as a Nazirite then they have to refrain from wine and other drinks that are fermented. They must not consume vinegar that has been made from wine or other types of fermented drinks. They are also not to eat grapes or raisins or to drink grape juice. When they remain under the Nazirite vow, the people are not to consume anything that is from the grapevine, not the skins or seeds.
